How I work
A transparent process. Explicit assumptions. Concrete outcomes.
Not every problem needs a large consulting engagement. That's why I match the scope of work to the situation — from a short consultation, through analysis of a specific issue, to support throughout delivery.
- 01
We assess the situation
We establish the goal, context, participants, constraints, and what currently isn't working or remains unclear.
- 02
We separate facts from assumptions
We check what's confirmed, what needs clarifying, and what decisions are needed.
- 03
We lay out the options
We describe possible approaches, dependencies, trade-offs, and risks. We don't hide the costs or limitations of the recommended solution.
- 04
We agree on next steps
The outcome is an agreed scope, a recommendation, a list of decisions, analytical material, or a plan for further work — depending on the goal of the collaboration.
Principles of collaboration
Specifics over generalities
we establish exactly what problem we're solving.
Explicit assumptions
we show what the recommendation is based on.
Verifiable outcomes
we define what should exist and how to evaluate it.
Shared understanding
we make sure business and technology understand the agreements the same way.
Proportionate scope
we don't complicate the process beyond what's needed.
